- Access to food: multiple food banks are operating in Irving and Grand Prairie
- Unemployment: the Cities of Irving and Grand Prairie both offer unemployment resources
- Mental health: Texas Health and Human Services have created a 24/7 COVID-19 Mental Health Support line for frontline workers in the state. Call: 1-833-986-1919
- Housing: the City of Irving provides information on rental assistance and shelters, and Grand Prairie provides detailed insights on mortgage and housing assistance. Additionally, the Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs (TDHCA) announced that Texas will provide HOME Tenant Based Rental Assistance to Texans.
How to get tested
There are a number of testing sites in and around Dallas offered by the government, CVS, Kroger, Walgreens and Walmart. For a complete list of testing locations and to see if you are eligible for testing, please review the City of Irving website or City of Grand Prairie website.
